Describe Operation Restore: Operation Restore is a program that was initiated in Southern Oregon as part of our Operation Restore Organization. Since 1999, we have made annual medical missions to Palau, treating infants with cleft lip and palate and other deformities. As an extension of that program we are seeking patients in Southern Oregon who are underprivileged or under insured who require reconstructive Plastic Surgery (traumatic deformities, congenital deformities, breast reconstruction, burn reconstruction, or cancer).
Favorite aspect of your job: What I enjoy most about my job is to see how excited people get after the results of their surgery.
How long have you lived in Medford: I moved to Medford in 1991 after completion of my medical training.

What is the most important thing you learned as a child? Never, ever, give up.
What person or event had the biggest impact on your life? My Grandfather. He began as a schoolteacher then became a school principal, went on to politics, becoming minister of Lands and Mines in Canada. He had a very successful career in the oil industry as president of Trans Canada Pipelines. Throughout his political and business career he was known as Mr. Integrity.
